In this industry, if you want to have a great restaurant where you touch people, you must show your passion to them. At Pietro’s, you feel the love and care and the attention to detail. I feel strongly that it’s the people who make the difference between just a restaurant and/or a place you really enjoy dining. I wanted to create a place where you only feel like a customer once because customers become friends, and friends become family. Not just for you but for me also. We have been to births, birthday celebrations, and many other life events of many, many friends we have made over the last 15 years in Sarasota, Florida. All who have left lasting impressions on our hearts.A restaurant is NOT just a business, it is very competitive and you have to try your very best each and every hour you are open. You can’t invent the passion. You must have it, and must maintain it all the time to provide overall quality. When the business gets too big, you lose touch, friends become just customers and you begin to spiral.
I created Pietro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar so I could feel alive again. I love this business and I love to share my life with my customers and friends and make a lasting impression on those who I serve.
The dining room is small and intimate, lined with pictures of customers whom have become family. My goal in creating this place was for me to be able to meet people, serve my old friends again, and make new friends. This restaurant is an extension of my home.
